My grandmother would always make a cheesecake during winter holidays and family gatherings. I still remember my siblings, cousins, and I getting very excited after dinner because we knew this irresistible treat was waiting for us. I have tasted many other cheesecakes, some very delicious and some not, but can not find one that can fully compare to the cheesecake my grandmother passed along to me. I have been baking this cheesecake for my family for years and my family now can't wait to dig in whenever they see me crushing the graham crackers or beating the filling.

New York Cheesecake Recipe

Crust

• 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers (either store bought crushed or crush by hand)
• 1/2 stick melted butter
• 1 tbsp. sugar

Combine crackers, melted butter, and sugar in a 9" spring foam pan. Press to bottom to form crust. Set aside.
